PhotoCamp Austin will be a one-day event with late afternoon/evening 
photowalks (various types/leaders) through downtown. Picture the 
biggest venue we can find with plenty of segmented space to set up 
mini studios and laptops and projectors to cover anything and 
everything about the art of capturing light, workflows, digital 
manipulation and business related stuff – whatever people want to talk 
about/learn about. The vision is to create something that’s worth 
traveling from out of town/state to attend for all different levels of 
experience. We are working on connecting with local and web vendors with the latest photos 
gear and goods there to see and play with. Perhaps we’ll have some fun day-long contests with awesome prizes. All this totally free, of 
course.  :)

I also did some SEO for this site as well. Again, Wordpress makes the onpage part of SEO a little easier with all the plugins they offer. Before I took over this project their web visibility was very low. In a matter of 2 months they began to see more traffic and their bounce rate changed considerably. They too like the fact that it’s a blog and can update it any time without contacting me.

They are based out of  The U.K. and Austin. This whole site was done from start (ground up) to finish in 3 weeks. We were under a crazy deadline for a big trade show in the U.K. where the competition was going to be heavy. We launched this site 3 hours before the show started. It was a fun project.
